The Association of Palestinian Engineers in Europe،
Germany Branch، held its eighth
conference، in the presence of a large crowd of
engineers in the Federal Republic of Germany. The conference was also attended
by a large group of guests from inside and outside Germany and a large group of
honorary guests from companies and institutions owners and assembly members who
came to the conference from all over German cities.
In his welcoming speech،
the head of the assembly،
Eng. Saadi Naim، emphasized the role
of the Palestinian engineer in Germany in serving his people at home and in the
diaspora and raising the level of the Palestinian engineer wherever he resides.
He also talked about the most important projects and achievements
implemented by the Palestinian Engineers Association in Germany and the future
aspirations for the advancement of the Palestinian engineer،
the last of which was the completion of a project to transfer expertise from
Germany to Palestine - especially the Gaza Strip،
where the project aimed in its first phase to train and employ 20 male and
female graduates in four Technology fields،
followed by employing trainees in these fields in various European companies.
The conference dealt with many important topics،
where Professor Gerard Schweiz gave a lecture entitled extracting natural gas
and benefiting from olive residues and touching on the methods and mechanisms
used in the extraction of natural gas and the cost involved.
On the other hand،
Professor Mohamed Amr gave a lecture on building oil extraction stations، the mechanism for determining oil-rich areas،
and the economic cost of building these stations.
In his turn،
Eng. Ibrahim Abu Thuraya،
President of the International Association of Palestinian Engineers، referred in his lecture to the importance and role of the
engineer in building and developing society and serving his cause. He presented
his training and application projects of training،
transferring expertise and employing engineers at home and in the diaspora. The
head of the assembly announced the establishment of the Global Technical
Solutions Company، owned by the
International Association of Palestinian Engineers،
which provides its services in the field of digital and programming، which also means the employment of Palestinian engineers.
Eng. Musa Al-Rifai،
head of the Palestinian Engineers Association in Europe،
delivered a speech in which he expressed the importance of cooperation between
different countries in Europe and the exchange of experiences between the
different groupings and a course in enriching work.
The conference also included giving a lecture entitled the
importance of strategic planning in building institutions،
through a lecture presented by the strategic planner،
Dr. Abdel Hakim Hammad،
and how to promote the work of companies and institutions in order to advance
work and the international quality methods used.
A lecture was organized by the German Center for Integration and
Development (CIM)، which dealt with
joint relations with the Palestinian Engineers Association and cooperation in
implementing development projects that serve the Palestinian engineer in the
homeland and diaspora.
During the conference،
a discussion of the internal and administrative affairs of the grouping took
place. The financial report was presented،
which was delivered by Eng. Denny Koons،
Treasurer.
And in a move to gratitude for the distinguished effort that this
conference received، the head of the
assembly honored many German personalities،
lecturers and institutions that contributed to the success of this conference.
