The Palestinian Engineers Association in Germany held its ninth
conference, in the presence of a crowd of engineers and engineering students in
the Federal Republic of Germany. The conference was also attended by a group of
guests from inside and outside Germany and a group of honorary guests from
companies and institutions owners and assembly members who had come to the
conference from all over German cities.
In his welcoming speech, the head of the assembly, Eng. Saadi Naim,
emphasized the role of the Palestinian engineer in Germany in serving his
people at home and in the diaspora and raising the level of the Palestinian
engineer wherever he or she is. The Palestinian engineer was promoted, the most
recent of which was the completion of a project to transfer expertise from
Germany to Palestine - especially the Gaza Strip, where the project aimed in
its first phase to train and employ 20 unemployed male and female graduates in
four fields of technology, and this was followed by the employment of trainees
in those fields in various European companies. He touched on scientific courses
in all engineering fields and the various activities and events held by the assembly,
which serve the category of students and engineers, whether inside or outside
Germany.
The conference dealt with many important topics. Eng. Ibrahim Abu
Thuraya, President of the International Association of Palestinian Engineers,
gave a lecture on the importance of the Palestinian engineer in building and
developing society and serving his cause.
In his lecture, he praised the idea of training and applied
projects such as training and transferring expertise and operating engineers at
home and in the diaspora, and he talked about establishing the Global Technical
Solutions Company, owned by the International Society of Palestinian Engineers,
which provides its services in the field of digital and programming, which also
means the employment of Palestinian engineers.
On the other hand, Eng. Saadi Naeem gave a lecture on the importance
of solar energy as a major part of renewable energy, in which he talked about
modern technologies and solar energy systems and their development in Europe
and addressed the trend of the world, especially Germany, as a pioneer in this
field of alternative energy in light of the climate changes it is witnessing.
the world.
At the beginning of the second part of the conference, which was
devoted to discussing the internal affairs of the assembly, the administrative
report was presented, which was delivered by Engineer Haitham Awali in his
capacity as the group's vice president. Then Treasurer, Eng. Denny Coons,
delivered the financial report.
The conference concluded its work by holding elections for the new
administrative committee of the assembly, which consists of seven members, and

At the end of the conference, a workshop was held, which would

The conference ended in an atmosphere of happiness and an unbridled
feeling of satisfaction from all participants, who in turn thanked the
organizer of the conference. It was agreed to continue working together and
supporting these projects of all kinds.
