Membership Terms
Membership
The assembly includes in its rank’s Palestinian assemblies, associations, and
engineering institutions from all over the world. Affiliation is done by
submitting an official membership application issued by the assembly to the
assembly's administrative body. The administrative body of the assembly also
has the right to accept or reject the submitted requests according to what
meets the goals of the assembly and to preserve its identity. Countries in
which there are no branches can direct their engineers to assemble until an
official body is formed for them in the branch, provided that Article 17
applies to them regarding representation in the public body of this statute.
Membership conditions
The professional establishment is Palestinian and officially
registered in one of the countries of the Palestinian Diaspora.
That the institution works in the specialized engineering field.
The institution should have a clear and functional administrative
structure.
That the institution does not have security or legal precautions in
the country in which it operates.
For the institution to submit an affiliation request according to
the form approved by the administrative body.
The Foundation shall be represented at the General Assembly for the
assembly through its representatives, as stipulated in Article 17 of the
Articles of Association.
That the foundation, upon its acceptance, adhere to the articles of
association of the assembly and serve its objectives.
Pay the scheduled periodic subscription.
The administrative body of the caucus has the right to accept or
reject membership or postpone the decision on it. The administrative body has
the right to bring recommendations from the offices to accept or reject
membership, so that the recommendation is not binding on the administrative
body to make the approval or rejection decision.
Honorary member
The administrative body of the assembly has the right to grant the
status of an honorary member to everyone who provides distinguished services to
the Palestinian people, provided that he is an engineer or has provided
important service to Palestinian engineers.
The honorary member has the right to participate in all assembly
meetings, activities and gatherings.
The honorary member does not have the right to be nominated, elected
or voted.
